The internal construction of the door is specially designed with honeycomb structure coupled with reinforcement all around for the better rating. The design and internal construction varies with the degree of fire rating for various tested conditions.
Door Frames and shutters are made from zero-sprangle galvanized steel.
These are constructed from 1.0mm thick galvanized steel sheet, formed to provide a 48mm thick, fully flush, double-skin door shell with seamless weldied joints all around. Internal reinforcements ensure better fire rating. The door incorporates a honeycomb structure with reinforcement, depending on the degree of tested fire rating.
These are produced from 1.6mm galvanized steel sheet, formed to single rebate profile of size 100mm x 57mm (+/- 0.3mm), with a maximum bending radius of 1.4mm.
The door frames can be built into the brick or block walls using corrugated “TEE” Anchors not welded to the frame (First fix). Frames may also be fixed on plastered openings with the help of metallic expansion shield with butt joints for bolted assembly at site.
Fire Rated Vision Glass with 6mm thick clear glass can be provided for a maximum of 2 hours fire rating. Rectangular vision glass can be provided in standard size of 200 x 300mm and sizes as per customer specifications as required wherever possible, subject to minimal standard construction norms.
